Notification

You can configure this setting to send you notification immediately in the event that the system encounters any problems.

  • E-mail:
Accounts that will be used for sending e-mail notifications can be set here. Google, Microsoft or another SMTP server email address can be used to send notifications. Multiple accounts can be set up but only one may be used as the primary account. While configuring accounts to receive e-mail notifications, the types of system notifications that will be received by these accounts can also be customized.
  • SMS:
Accounts of the SMS service provider that will be used for sending SMS notifications can be set here. While configuring a mobile phone number to receive SMS notifications, it is also possible to set the type of system notifications that will be received by these recipients.
  • Push Notification:
Here you can enable the push notification setting for the AiMaster mobile app which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. When designated system events occur, your ASUSTOR NAS will immediately send notification to the Apple/Google push notification server which will then forward it to your mobile device.
  • Advanced: (Introduced in ADM 4.2.7)
Custom rules for the event notifications can be set here. ADM event notifications can now be filtered by keywords. With support for daily, weekly, and monthly summaries, it’s easy to regularly review all important events in one email thread. Different rules can be set for different notification recipients and allows the correct owners to handle important events more efficiently.
