Q: How to set up DDNS for ASUSTOR NAS?

If you want to set up DDNS on your ASUSTOR NAS, here are the steps:

  1. Verify that the NAS is connected to the network and that you are logged into the NAS management interface.
  2. Click "Network" on the left menu.
  3. Select "DDNS" in the upper menu.
  4. On the DDNS settings page, click the Add button.
  5. Select the DDNS service provider you are using, e.g. "ASUSTOR EZ-Router", "DynDNS", etc.
  6. Set your DDNS account and password, and fill in the hostname or domain name you want to use.
  7. Click the "Test Connection" button to confirm whether it can connect to your NAS correctly.
  8. Click the "OK" button to complete the DDNS setup.

After the configuration is complete, you can use the DDNS host name or domain name to access your NAS over the network without memorizing the IP address of the NAS. If you need to change or delete the DDNS settings, you can do so in the DDNS Settings page.
