Which system settings can be backed up on a NAS?

1. Lists and access rights for local users and groups.

2. Lists and access rights for shared folders.

3. Most system settings.

4. Entries in the firewall automatic blacklist.

 

Exceptions:

1. Cloud ID and ASUSTOR ID settings will not be backed up for security reasons.

2. Settings that are not applicable to different NAS models. Double check all settings when migrating.

3. Settings for non-existent shared folders on a destination NAS.
