Q: How do I improve the transfer speed when accessing NAS from out side of the network?

If you are getting slow transfer speed when accessing NAS from out side of the network, here are some configurations may help:

1. ADM-Settings-Manual Connect-DDNS

Enable the service can let the connection request from out side of the network directed to NAS WAN IP.


2. ADM-Settings-Manual Connect-EZ Router

Once it's configured properly, services been enabled in the port forward list can be accessed from out side of the network directly.


3. If you are using AEC(ASUSTOR EZ Connect) to connect to NAS from out side of the network, please check the connection status displayed in AEC interface to see the current connection status.
