ADM BetaProgram Release Notes

ADM Beta 3.3.0.BDT2 ( 2019-01-29 )


Applicable Models: All.

  • Btrfs and volume snapshots supported on: AS31, 32, 40, 50, 51, 61, 62, 63, 64 and 70.

Installation Notes

  • This is beta software. ASUSTOR recommends backing up important data before updating.
  • NAS systems running versions earlier than 3.0.2.RA22 will need to update to 3.0.2.RA22 prior to updating to 3.3.0.BDT2.
  • After upgrading to ADM 3.3.0 Beta, it will no longer be possible to revert back to an older version.
  • After upgrading to ADM 3.3.0 Beta, please update all NAS apps and mobile apps to minimize compatibility issues.
  • After upgrading to ADM 3.3.0 Beta, thumbnails will be reproduced for original image files, so CPU usage may increase.

  • Support added for Btrfs defragmentation.
  • Support added for Btrfs scrub.
  • Support added for Amazon S3 China and Cloudian backup services.
  • LDAP users can now enable 2-step verification while sign in to ADM.

Known Limitations/Issues

  • Parts of Snapshot Center may not yet display non-English translations.
  • Please close Activity Monitor in ADM first when creating or restoring a snapshot.
  • Storage Manager may not correctly display hard drive usage information if a large number of the same files are copied to a Btrfs volume.

  • If current ADM version is older than 3.0.2.RA22, please upgrade to ADM 3.0.2.RA22 first, and then ADM can upgrade to 3.3.0.BCQ2.

Known Limitations/Issues
