ADM's built-in EZ-Connect function can help you to complete the necessary router configurations for setting up remote access to your NAS. The instructions below will further explain how to set up remote access to your NAS using EZ-Connect.

2. Enable EZ-Connect

ASUSTOR's exclusive EZ-Connect feature allows you to setup your NAS for remote access in just two easy steps, effectively creating a private cloud. Before enabling EZ-Connect please make sure that you have signed up for an ASUSTOR ID and registered your NAS.

STEP 1

  • Log into ADM using a Web browser.
  • Select [Settings] [EZ-Connect].
  • Select the [Enable EZ-Connect Service] checkbox and then click on [Apply].

STEP 2

  • Enter a name of your liking for your Cloud ID and then click [OK].

STEP 3

  • EZ-Connect Configuration Wizard will start to detect and configure the Router.
  • You are now ready to connect to your NAS using the internet after the setting is completed.

3. Using EZ-Connect

After enabling the EZ-Connect service, you are now ready to connect to your NAS using the internet.

  • Connecting through the ezconnect.to website.
Enter https://www.ezconnect.to/ into your Web browser. Enter your Cloud ID into the required field and then click on [Connect] to connect to your NAS.

Please refer to: NAS 227: Introduction to AEC (ASUSTOR EZ Connect).
