Description

Ping Monitor is a lightweight Internet and LAN stability monitor for ASUSTOR NAS.
It provides continuous ping monitoring, response graphs, outage detection, daily summaries, session reports, CSV export and a manual speedtest. It can monitor both an Internet target and a local router/LAN target.
The app runs locally on the NAS. Optional donation information is displayed locally only; Ping Monitor does not process payments, store payment data or send payment information anywhere.

What's new in this version?

Ping Monitor has received major improvements since version 2.2.21 RC, focused on stability monitoring, reports, history, speedtest accuracy, mobile usability, and ASUSTOR integration.
Main changes:
Improved persistence of monitoring history, daily summaries, reports, and speedtest history across updates and restarts.
Added automatic migration and recovery of older saved data.
Daily summaries now correctly combine multiple measurements from the same day.
Long-running measurements across multiple days are saved continuously.
Reports were redesigned to open inside the app instead of a new page.
Session and daily reports now show clean summaries and graphs instead of long raw sample tables.
Added calendar-style daily report history and speedtest history.
Added outage history with calendar view, outage duration, reason, and optional clearing of selected outage days.
Improved outage detection using consecutive failed samples, respecting the configured “Outage after” threshold.
Internet speedtest is now automatic, with real timed download/upload measurement instead of fixed file-size based results.
Server selection now uses both latency and real speed samples, not ping alone.
Speedtest history stores real duration, transferred data, Mbps, MB/s, and selected server.
Added Mbps / MB/s display toggle.
Improved mobile layout, readability, panel stacking, tables, graph sizing, and button placement.
Added full mobile favorite/bookmark support, favicon routes, Apple touch icons, 192 px / 512 px icons, and web manifest metadata.
Updated ADM/App Central icons so the app icon better matches the visual size of companion monitor apps.
Added missing translations for dialogs, history windows, report actions, and inline buttons.
Added safer UI behavior: controls lock while monitoring is running, Start/Stop buttons reflect the current state, and click handlers are more resilient.
Added no-cache handling to prevent old broken UI files from being reused after updates.
Added many automated tests covering reports, speedtest behavior, history, outage detection, UI controls, mobile layout, and app metadata.
