ClamAV Updates Discontinued for ADM 4.3 (and Earlier) Versions

The new ClamAV scanning engine is incompatible with system libraries of ADM versions below 4.3 and their respective build environments. Due to the architectural limitations of older versions of ADM, it is no longer possible integrate the new antivirus software. Therefore, ASUSTOR regrettably announces that ClamAV package updates will be completely discontinued for NAS devices running ADM 4.3 and earlier versions, effective immediately.

Existing ClamAV scanning functionality may remain operational, but the lack of future virus definition and scanning engine updates may result in its ability to detect malware to gradually decrease over time.

Impact of Discontinued Support:

Virus Definition Updates Terminated: ADM 4.3 and below will no longer be able to download or synchronize the latest virus signature databases.
Scanning Engine Updates Stopped: The ClamAV scanning engine will remain at its current version without further feature upgrades or security patches.
