1. Introduction to UPnP Media Server

1. Introduction to UPnP Media Server
1.1 Introduction to UPnP Media Server V2/ MiniDLNA
The UPnP Media Server V2/ MiniDLNA Apps can turn your NAS into your home’s multimedia streaming server. As long as you have devices that support UPnP V2 or mini DLNA (for example, LG, Samsung, SONY BRAVIA TV or PlayStation5® Or previous PlayStation3 and 4®), you can directly browse and stream the pictures, music and videos stored on your NAS.

Additionally, you can use UPnP/DLNA compatible applications on your mobile device (for example, a notebook, iPhone or iPad) to stream multimedia files from your NAS.

In this article, we will introduce UPnp V2 and miniDLNA but to know the difference, you can refer to the link below

Note: UPnP V2 Media Server is only responsible for streaming to compatible devices. The media formats that are playable may vary depending on the device.
