Removing Credentials from Windows

(We will be using a computer running Windows 7 as an example)

1.1 Opening Credential Manager in Windows

 

STEP 1

Click [Start] → [Control Panel].

 



STEP 2

Select [User Accounts and Family Safety].

 



STEP 3

Select [User Accounts].

 



STEP 4
Select [Manage your credentials].


 

1.2 Remove credentials

 

STEP 1

Select the Windows Credentials that you want to remove. (In the example below, 172.16.4.101 is the credential for our NAS).

 



STEP 2

Click [Remove from vault] to delete the credential.
