ASUSTOR Announces Release of Surveillance Center


Taipei, Taiwan, December 12th, 2012 – ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced today the release of its exclusive surveillance solution, Surveillance Center that will come pre-installed with all ASUSTOR NAS devices. Surveillance Center’s Web-based interface gives users the power to manage an array of IP cameras while featuring recording via schedule, motion trigger or alarm trigger and a notification system that alerts users in the event of disruptions. Surveillance Center currently supports all the major well-known camera brands such as Axis, AVTECH, Brickcom, D-Link, LevelOne, Panasonic BB/BL and Vivotek.

Surveillance Center’s intuitive interface lets users view and record from up to four simultaneous live feeds, play back previously recorded material, take snapshots and control the pan, tilt and zoom functions of their cameras. Moreover, its convenient time axis feature allows users to easily find previously recorded material from specific time periods. In addition to its compatibility with leading web browsers such as Chrome, FireFox and Internet Explorer, Surveillance Center also features an easy to use quick start wizard to help new users get started.
