This is a Bitwarden server API implementation written in Rust compatible with upstream Bitwarden clients, perfect for self-hosted deployment.

Notes:

1. Bitwarden server need to use HTTPS connection, and the default certificate is the one ASUSTOR ADM used, but only Web browser clients can connect with Bitwarden Server.

2. Please apply DDNS and DDNS SSL certificate for your server, and then all Bitwarden clients (mobile phone, windows/Mac desktop and Web Browser) can connect with Bitwarden Server.

3. If the DDNS SSL certificate is created after the App installed, please disable and re-enable the App from App Central to apply new certificate for the server.

CrashPlan - Endpoint Backup + Restore

In order to configure the backup engine, you will need to connect using the CrashPlan user interface from another system (Windows, MAC, Linux).



On your PC, install CrashPlan from https://www.code42.com/store/ (Use Version 4.5.0)

Stop the CrashPlan User Interface on your PC.

Disable and Enable the CrashPlan App in Asustor's App Central (Restart the App).

Find the .ui_info file on your PC and make a backup. (on Windows 10, installed for all users, this is at C:\ProgramData\CrashPlan\.ui.info)

To locate .ui_info for various systems, please refer to: this link

Now replace the contents of this file with the details from the file found on your NAS Public share at Public/crashplanservice/.ui_info.
(you need to edit this file as administrator, so start wordpad as administrator and then open this file from wordpad)... you may need to enable hidden files on your system.

Find the ui.properties file on your PC (Found in the CrashPlan conf directory) On Windows = C:\Program Files\CrashPlan\conf\ui.proprties

Edit the ui.properties file and Uncomment the "serviceHost" line by removing the bracket (#) at the start of the line and change 127.0.0.1 to the IP address of your NAS (for instance 192.168.1.30).

Open CrashPlan on your PC. The GUI will show CrashPlan on the NAS instead of the configuration on your local computer. Configure what to backup, where, when etc.

When you're done configuring CrashPlan on the NAS, you can change the ui.properties file back to the way it was (#serviceHost=127.0.0.1) and restore your original .ui_info

The next time you open up the CrashPlan GUI on your PC, you will see the configuration of your local computer again, instead of the NAS config. -

Remote Access

FileFlex provides remote access to files and folders from located on the ASUSTOR NAS or any networked device.

File Sharing

Security

With FileFlex, your files stay in their source locations and nothing is copied to a third party. Access and sharing uses high level encryption. The Hi-Res Player is a music player which plays High-resolution audio supported files (higher than CD quality - lossless music formats - FLAC, WAV, DSD etc.)

The app is integrated with the MPD (Music Player Daemon) Rompr UI.

1) Supported formats:

Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Opus, WavPack, MP2, MP3, MP4/AAC, DSD (.dff)

2) How-To:

a) After the Hi-Res Player is launched, please click on the 'Add folder to Music collection' button (located in the 'Top-left'). Then select which folders you would like to add to the Music Collection.

Hi-Res Player would scan the folders to add music to the Music Collection.

b) When new contents are in the Music folder, then click on the Settings icon or RompR Preferences, and click 'Update Music Collection Now' to update the database.

c) If a USB DAC device is plugged into the NAS, please click on the RompR Preferences, and go to 'Audio Outputs'.

d) Click the refresh button to rescan the output devices.

You may see devices such as:

- MPD http stream

- ALSA device(default)

- iFi(by AMR) HD USB Audio , USB Audio(card: 1-0)

The “iFi(by AMR) HD USB Audio , USB Audio(card: 1-0)” is the USB DAC - iFi nano iDSD we plugged into the USB slot.

e) Devices are enabled by default and can be individually enabled or disabled.

3) S/PDIF is supported for all ASUSTOR NAS equipped with the S/PDIF interface:

The S/PDIF output can also be disabled or enabled in the Audio Outputs section of the RompR Preferences.

4) DSD (Direct Stream Digital) support:

a) For AS7, DSD files can be played directly.

However, to listen to high resolution audio, a USB DAC which supports DSD is required.

b) For AS6, AS5, AS3, AS2, a USB DAC which supports DSD is needed to play DSD files.

5) Http stream:

When there is audio playing, click on the 'Music Play' button next to RompR Preferences.

a) The Hi-Res Player would open a new browser tab to play the streaming music to your PC.

b) To support http streaming to your web browser, please install VLC plugin for your web browser.

Home Assistant is an open-source home automation platform running on Python 3. It is able to track and control all devices at home and offer a platform for automating control.

Secure files on your Asustor NAS devices with IDrive. Use the IDrive app to backup and restore files on your Asustor device to prevent data loss in case of hardware failure. Jellyfin is the Free Software Media System that puts you in control of managing and streaming your media. There are no strings attached, no premium licenses or features, and no hidden agendas.

The followings folders bind to shared folders in NAS, please store your media files into those folders or create subfolders.

JRE (Java Runtime Environment) contains JVM, class libraries, and other supporting files. It does not contain any development tools such as compiler, debugger, etc. Actually JVM runs the program, and it uses the class libraries, and other supporting files provided in JRE. If you want to run any java program, you need to have JRE installed in the system. -

Featureful and Standards Compliant
PostgreSQL prides itself in standards compliance. Its SQL implementation strongly conforms to the ANSI-SQL:2008 standard. It has full support for subqueries (including subselects in the FROM clause), read-committed and serializable transaction isolation levels. And while PostgreSQL has a fully relational system catalog which itself supports multiple schemas per database, its catalog is also accessible through the Information Schema as defined in the SQL standard.

GiST serves as a foundation for many public projects that use PostgreSQL such as OpenFTS and PostGIS. OpenFTS (Open Source Full Text Search engine) provides online indexing of data and relevance ranking for database searching. PostGIS is a project which adds support for geographic objects in PostgreSQL, allowing it to be used as a spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS), much like ESRI's SDE or Oracle's Spatial extension.
Other advanced features include table inheritance, a rules systems, and database events. Table inheritance puts an object oriented slant on table creation, allowing database designers to derive new tables from other tables, treating them as base classes. Even better, PostgreSQL supports both single and multiple inheritance in this manner.
The rules system, also called the query rewrite system, allows the database designer to create rules which identify specific operations for a given table or view, and dynamically transform them into alternate operations when they are processed.
The events system is an interprocess communication system in which messages and events can be transmitted between clients using the LISTEN and NOTIFY commands, allowing both simple peer to peer communication and advanced coordination on database events. Since notifications can be issued from triggers and stored procedures, PostgreSQL clients can monitor database events such as table updates, inserts, or deletes as they happen.
