Viaalink Relay asustor NAS App

Viaalink Relay

Beschrijving

Viaalink Relay turns your NAS into your own tunnel server: expose local
services on your network to the internet over your own domain, with
SSH-key or password authentication, automatic Let's Encrypt certificates,
and a dashboard showing connected devices, the names they hold and their
live requests.

This app is a launcher for the Viaalink Relay Docker image (bundled — no
internet access needed for the initial install) — it requires the
Docker Engine app from App Central.

Plans: the Free plan is included — 3 connected devices with up to 10
connections between them. The Relay runs on Free limits from its first
start; activate the free license (a free viaalink.com account) within 14
days to keep accepting new devices. Paid plans are bought on viaalink.com and
activated in the app, under Settings > License; the license is tied to
this NAS's network cards.

First run: open the app from your ADM desktop, which opens the setup
page — enter your setup token there once (a login form, not a bare
error) and it remembers you for future visits. Find your setup token
in File Explorer > Shared Folders >
viaalink-relay-data > CREDENTIALS.txt.

Wat is er nieuw in deze versie?

1.39.0
- Its own ports on a new install: devices connect on 28022, the Relay's
HTTP and HTTPS are 28081 and 28443, and the desktop icon opens the
dashboard through ADM's reverse proxy on 28080. Every port can be
changed under Settings › Domain & Ports; an existing install keeps its
ports.
- Sign-in links: people you invite can sign in with a link from your own
mail server, without a viaalink.com account.
- Automatic updates, if the Owner turns them on (Settings › Updates):
installed at night, rolled back if the new version is not healthy.
- Devices hear when the Relay restarts and reconnect within seconds.
- Join, invite and sign-in links carry the HTTPS port when it is not 443.

1.38.0
- Invite e-mails sent through your own mail server carry your logo, colour,
opening text (English and Dutch) and footer; Settings › E-mail shows a
preview.
- The switch for sign-in with viaalink.com says what viaalink.com keeps
while it is on. Switched off, the Relay is removed from every
viaalink.com account.

1.37.2
- Invite e-mails link straight to this Relay's sign-in page and never name
a placeholder address.
- Errors show in red; "License expires soon" appears for Free only when
online renewal fails; one valid-until date everywhere.
- Sign out for setup-code sessions; the header's status and your name are
clickable.
- Settings › Other settings has a switch for sign-in with viaalink.com.

1.37.1
- The package now carries the Viaalink Relay version: 1.37.1. Built with Go 1.26.10 and current golang.org/x
network and crypto modules, which close sixteen known security issues
in TLS, HTTP/2, certificate checks and SSH.

0.62.9
First version in App Central.
- Your own tunnel server on your NAS: devices connect over SSH and their
services are reachable under your own domain, with HTTPS certificates
from Let's Encrypt.
- Overview with a live check of every domain's DNS and certificate.
- Devices: every device, online or not, with its names, traffic and when
it was last seen. Live requests per name, visitor addresses hashed.
- People: who may connect. Connect a device with the Viaalink CLI: make a
single-use join code and run the command it shows on that device. A
registration key or an SSH public key works too. Block a person and their devices disconnect at once.
- Domains: one or more domains, certificates through your DNS provider
(Cloudflare, Porkbun, Route 53, DigitalOcean, GoDaddy).
- Logs and an audit trail of every change, downloadable as CSV.
- Settings: ports, router forwarding through EZ-Router, backup and
restore, e-mail invites, optional STUN/TURN for calls.
- Free plan: 3 connected devices with up to 10 connections between them.
Paid plans on viaalink.com, activated in the app.
- Needs the Docker Engine app; the Relay image is bundled.
