Erase and Download Your Data

You can request your data erasure and portability right under personal data protection laws (Part 1) and EU Data Act (Part 2) by below application. Please find below details:


1. General notices for both Part 1 and 2:

(1) To protect your privacy, ASUSTOR only accepts applications submitted by you personally.
(2) If you have provided data to ASUSTOR using multiple identities, please submit separate applications for each identity.
(3) Once submitted, your application cannot be canceled. ASUSTOR will respond to your application within approximately one month.

2. Part 1 – Applications under personal data protection laws

(1) Please refer to ASUSTOR Privacy Frequently Asked Question for data protection related issue.
(2) To delete your product registration records or account, please submit your request to privacy@asustor.com.

3. Part 2 – Applications under EU Data Act (for EU products)

(1) Regarding data generated under EU data protection laws when using ASUSTOR products in the EU, such data may be stored on your device and/or our remote servers. For details, please refer to the ASUSTOR Privacy Statement/EU Data Protection Statement displayed on the corresponding product/application.
(2) If you wish to access, retrieve, or delete data where applicable, for anonymized data or data stored on your device, you may access the relevant folders on your device as described in the ASUSTOR Privacy Statement/EU Data Protection Act Statement displayed on the corresponding product/application.

For the data associated with identifiers (which is personal data), it may be stored on our remote server. To request for this data, you may submit an application on this interface, using either “ASUSTOR Account” or “Non-ASUSTOR Account” identity, and selecting below data type(s). For this application, we will process your request under both EU Data Act and personal data protection laws.
(i) ASUSTOR product data (for log information about performance and system status of hardware, firmware and software, settings, usage records and interaction with your product)
(ii) ASUSTOR customer service data (for error log files of your product generated during repair process).
