AiMaster is available for both iOS and Android. In this course we will be using the Android version of AiMaster as an example.
STEP 1
After installing AiMaster, there are a variety of ways to sign in to the ASUSTOR NAS from AiMaster.
Note: AiMaster only supports administrator accounts.
If using AiMaster for the first time:
Please ensure Wi-Fi on your device is turned on. Your NAS will not appear if it is not on the same network.
If you have installed other ASUSTOR mobile apps and signed in to your NAS:
Note: It is recommended to enable the EZ-Connect service and use Cloud ID to sign in.
The new ASUSTOR mobile apps share mobile login data with other ASUSTOR mobile apps by default to make using ASUSTOR mobile apps easy. This can be turned off.
If an uninitialized ASUSTOR NAS is listed in the server list, AiMaster can be used to initialize and set up your NAS.
After logging in to your NAS with AiMaster, you’ll be able to shut down, hibernate and wake up your NAS both within and outside your local network, provided settings are set correctly. The option to put your NAS to sleep is unavailable on models that do not support S3 Sleep Mode. Click here to read more about Wake on LAN (WOL) and Wake on LAN (WOW) support.
